Listings Per Hour is a free guide to listing speed for eBay resellers, published by the team behind FlowLister, an AI eBay listing tool. It covers how long a listing takes, how many items to list a day, batching by station, templates, clearing a death pile and scaling without hiring. Every figure carries its source or is labeled as an example, and sources were checked in September 2026.
What is listings per hour?
Listings per hour is the number of items you get fully listed, from prep to published, in one hour of work. It's 60 divided by your minutes per listing: at 12 minutes an item, that's 5 an hour. Reselling income is listings times sell-through times net per sale, and listings per hour is the one of those your process sets.
- You don't control what the market pays. You can change how you list.
- Each listing keeps working after you've moved on, so a higher rate compounds instead of paying once.
- Setup and switching repeat on every item, and batching pays them once per batch without cutting corners.
- Listing faster lets you buy more, and pick better, which lifts the other two inputs too.
Start by measuring your own rate, because you can't tell whether a change helped without a before. How long a listing takes shows where the minutes go, the calculator turns your minutes into listings per hour, and the per-day math turns that into a daily number.

Disclosure Listings Per Hour is published by the team behind FlowLister. FlowLister takes the typing off your listing time: it writes the eBay listing from your photos, with the title, item specifics, a price from sold listings and shipping, in about 30 seconds. It's AI, so it misses things. We make it, so read this as a disclosure, not a recommendation. Everything else on this site works without it.
